Introduction
Welcome to the NFCS Enugu Diocese Voting Platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and NFCS Enugu Diocese (the "Platform"). We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, participating in voting activities, or using any features of our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
Users must be at least 16 years old or have parental consent to use this platform.
User Eligibility
To use our voting platform, you must:
- Be a member of the Catholic student community or have legitimate interest in NFCS activities
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Not engage in fraudulent voting practices
- Not create multiple accounts to manipulate voting results
Voting Rules & Conduct
All users must adhere to the following rules when participating in voting activities:
- Fair Participation: Each user is allowed one vote per contest unless otherwise specified
- No Vote Manipulation: Users may not use automated systems, bots, or scripts to cast votes
- Accurate Information: All information provided during registration and voting must be truthful
- Payment Integrity: For paid voting contests, all payments must be legitimate and properly processed
- No Harassment: Users must not harass, threaten, or abuse other participants or contestants
Payment Terms
For contests that require payment:
- All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Paystack, Flutterwave, Monnify)
- Payment amounts are clearly displayed before transaction completion
- Payments are non-refundable once votes are cast, except in cases of technical errors verified by our team
- Users must ensure they are voting for the correct contestant before completing payment
- Payment receipts are available for download after successful transactions
Important: No refunds will be issued for votes cast in error. Please verify your selection before payment.
User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring your email address is valid and accessible for receiving notifications
- Reporting any unauthorized use of your account immediately
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Attempting to manipulate voting results through fraudulent means
- Creating multiple accounts to cast multiple votes
- Using automated software, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform infrastructure
- Sharing or selling account credentials
- Posting offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
- Engaging in any activity that violates Nigerian law or Catholic values
Contest Organization & Results
For contest organizers and participants:
- Contest dates, rules, and voting periods are set by organizers and displayed clearly
- NFCS Enugu Diocese reserves the right to cancel or modify contests if fraud is detected
- Voting results are final once the contest period ends
- Disputes must be reported within 48 hours of contest completion
- The platform is not responsible for disputes between contestants
Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of NFCS Enugu Diocese or its content suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without explicit written permission.
Limitation of Liability
NFCS Enugu Diocese and its voting platform:
- Are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- Do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- Are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Are not responsible for technical issues with third-party payment processors
- Are not liable for disputes between contestants or users
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that:
- Violate these Terms and Conditions
- Engage in fraudulent voting practices
- Abuse or harass other users or contestants
- Attempt to compromise platform security
- Remain inactive for extended periods (subject to our discretion)
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
We encourage users to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
